Sustainability starts with a sustainable process.

A uniform, to us, is sustainable, functional, and stylish. To achieve that, we work closely with fabric suppliers, clothing brands, and our manufacturers.

Sustainable from start to finish

Working together for a sustainable future.

Every day, we strive to balance circularity, sustainability, and an ethical production chain. By choosing high-quality, reusable materials and producing close to home, we minimize our environmental impact. Our goal is to create clothing that is not only stylish and functional but also contributes to a better future.

At PERSU., we embrace the principles of slow fashion. With this mindset, we approach every design and carefully source materials that stand the test of time. By choosing high-quality, reusable fabrics and producing close to home, we minimize our environmental impact and prioritize sustainability from start to finish.

We ensure fair working conditions and uphold human rights across our entire supply chain. At the same time, we continue to innovate, setting higher standards for sustainable workwear with every collection we create. The longer a garment lasts, the better we’ve done our job.

One step further every day

One day we will be pioneers in sustainability.

Since 2010, we’ve been committed to transparent and sustainable production, always aiming for one ultimate goal: fully circular workwear. By making smarter choices every day, we’re steadily moving closer to that vision. We know that truly sustainable clothing doesn’t exist yet. That’s why we push ourselves to take the path of least impact—even when it’s the harder one.

Production in Europe

Craftmanship close to home

By staying close to the source, we ensure a sustainable approach. Every step in our process meets strict European quality standards.

Sustainable materials

Responsible production

We use sustainable materials without compromising on quality. Each material is carefully selected based on its origin, lifespan, and environmental impact.

Circular economy

80% circular by 2035

We actively work to minimize our ecological impact by designing hospitality workwear that fully complies with the NTA 8195 standard for circularity.

Together we can make a difference

How do we support sustainable workwear?

PERSU. contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations in 2016.

this are the steps we take.

  • Fashion consumes more energy than both aviation and maritime shipping together, generating 10% of worldwide CO₂ emissions. In response, we favour recycled fibres and limit transport by working with European partners throughout our supply chain.

  • Sadly, 85% of worn-out garments still end up in landfills. PERSU. designs workwear for maximum technical lifespan and runs a take-back program. Together with GAIA Circular, we reclaim used clothing and recycle it responsibly, giving materials a new life.

  • Chemical pollution of soil, air, and water is a common side effect of garment production. We address this by working with GOTS-certified organic fibers, integrating recycled fibers, and choosing natural dyes and inks to limit emissions.

  • Let our in-house seamstress handle your tweaks and repairs. With years of experience, she squeezes every bit of life out of each garment so you can keep wearing it longer. If it can be fixed, we’ll fix it.

  • Only 0.3 kg of the roughly 20 kg of textiles each European uses each year, or 1.6%, is workwear. Because this share is small we can make it fully circular. We are not there yet but we are pushing hard to get there fast.

  • Let the numbers speak for themselves; the real question is what they imply. Delaying the end-of-life of a garment might seem unusual, but it’s arguably the smartest way to fight waste. Each extra wear spreads its impact thinner. That’s why we invest in slow fashion; designing for maximum lifespan. Less replacing, more embracing what lasts.

We track everything

Minimalizing our carbon footprint with European production.

By partnering with European suppliers and manufacturers for fabrics and other components, we create a short supply chain that reduces our environmental impact. We enforce strict adherence to European regulations on responsible production, addressing both social and environmental factors. In addition, we annually review our collaboration with key partners to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Attention to detail

Sustainable materials.

Our corporate clothing is designed with sustainability and timeless style in mind. We select materials that are resistant to wear, tear, and moisture, ensuring the garments remain functional both now and in the future. By choosing naturally robust materials, we contribute to a longer lifespan of the clothing, thereby reducing the need for frequent replacements.

We focus not only on the quality of materials but also on garment care. Therefore, we provide detailed maintenance instructions and actively encourage repairs and alterations to extend garment life.

Our philosophy is reinforced by certifications such as Ecovadis, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001. Additionally, we continuously strive to enhance the sustainability of our materials, contributing positively to the future of the clothing industry and our planet.

Working circularly

Recycling with Gaia Circular.

We can take back garments at the end of their lifespan or, upon request, provide GAIA Circular collection boxes for recycling.

GAIA can collect and register clothing in Cirmar’s material database. The garments are then sanitized, sorted, and evaluated based on their composition and quality. To ensure confidentiality, workwear with logos is securely handled.

The raw materials are reused in new products or incorporated into the development of fully circular products.

This is what makes your colleagues happy.
